DMPA-SC Communications Pack

PATH has developed this comprehensive suite of scientific communications materials to support evidence-based introduction and scale-up of DMPA-SC and self-injection (SI). These resources are technical, detailed, thoroughly referenced, and designed to meet the information needs of evidence-minded decision-makers—namely health care providers and policymakers—who serve as gatekeepers for DMPA-SC/SI accessibility, availability, and uptake.

Includes safety and effectiveness data and real-world evidence from global research.
• Education Deck: A comprehensive repository of slides featuring peer-reviewed scientific data and implementation evidence created to communicate clinical information about DMPA-SC/SI. Designed to inform medical education, professional training, and stakeholder briefings across health care audiences.
• Frequently Asked Questions: In-depth responses to queries regarding the administration, efficacy, safety, and practical aspects of DMPA-SC/SI based on published literature and real-world implementation data. Addresses product specifications, administration protocols, safety monitoring, and quality assurance considerations for healthcare systems and policy and regulatory authorities.
